We are responsible for the City of West Bend Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. We do contract with Allegiant Property Management (https://allegiantpropertymgmtllc.com/) to maintain this list and handle the day-to-day operations of that program

Start with contacting the agency that issued your voucher and let them know where you would like to move. They will begin the process with the agency in the area you would like to port to.

You are allowed to have one pet. This is limited to (1) domesticated dog OR (1) domesticated cat OR (1) cage with up to two birds OR (1) fishbowl with fish or one turtle (in an aquarium). A weight limitation also applies of no more than (25) pounds. Visiting pets are not allowed. A pet security deposit is also required.

Your rent is approximately 30% of your gross income. Individual rent calculations are done for each applicant prior to move in.

You are required to do a rent recertification on an annual basis to determine the amount of rent you will pay for the upcoming year.

The security deposit is the same as the rent amount calculated at move in. This deposit is required to be paid in full at the time of move in.

The initial lease term is one year and month to month after that.

The basic utilities (heat, electric, water) are included in your monthly rent amount. Additional utility charges apply for appliances such as freezers, space heaters, etc. The units include stove, refrigerator, blinds, drapes and a through the wall A/C unit. Furniture is not included. Cable/internet/phone services are the tenant’s responsibility. The building is equipped with an antenna that tenants can plug into at no additional charge.

The entire property is smoke free.

Yes, we do have three different laundry rooms available in the building as well as a change machine.

Yes, we have three elevators in the building.

We do have two garbage rooms in the building where tenants can take their bagged garbage and recyclables.

Yes. We have double entry doors which lock at approximately 8 pm and open back up at approximately 7 am. We also have a Primus key system for apartment doors for security purposes. Guests can call tenants through a call box in between the entry doors and tenants can also use a FOB system for entry.

We have surface parking lots for tenants. This is on a first come first served basis. Visitors must park in the visitor parking area or on the street. Handicapped parking spots are available to anyone with a handicap plate or placard per state law.

We have two full time maintenance personnel working Monday through Friday between 8 am and 4 pm. Work orders can also be called in to our voicemail system anytime. After hours and weekends, maintenance emergencies can be called in to a specific Emergency Maintenance Line.

We have mailboxes inside the building for all tenants as well as outgoing mail drop slots.

Yes, we have two community rooms, several lobbies, an exercise area, tenant services room with Wi-Fi and a Gazebo in our courtyard. Community rooms are available to be reserved for tenant use on a first-come-first-served basis.

Yes. The Washington County Meal Program is served at lunchtime Monday through Friday out of the MII Community Room. We also have a Salon on site for tenant use. Availability is based on the stylist’s preference. A Massage Therapist comes on-site to do chair massages for a reasonable fee. The therapist sets her availability and schedules appointments. There are several tenant organized activities, which are listed in the monthly tenant newsletter. You can also sign up to plant flowers in one of our numerous planters on the property each spring if you enjoy gardening.

Yes, we are required to inspect each unit at least annually.
